Lawyers Against Poverty is hosting an evening for members and friends at 17:30-19:30 on Wednesday 10 April! It will be at Baker McKenzie (100 New Bridge Street, London EC4V 6JA).
As well as an occasion to meet other individuals involved with our organisation, including the volunteers who lead our working groups and the members of our Steering Committee and Advisory Board, we want to create the opportunity for members to share their ideas for developing Lawyers Against Poverty.
We rely on you as our members to vote on which cases and causes we support with funding and we also want to ask for your help with shaping our strategy over the coming year and beyond. As you know, we have been focusing on refugee rights, women’s rights and indigenous rights to land and we especially want to discuss how best we can take these forward.
Do come along to share your ideas on our strategy! You can register to attend via Eventbrite and email any questions to Emma.Hammond@lawyersagainstpoverty.org. Ph: Tommy Trenchard/Oxfam.
