Putting the Law Behind Climate Justice
Roots2Justice is a partnership initiative designed to bridge the gap between grassroots human, environmental and climate justice movements and the international legal community, in order to build coordinated and multidisciplinary approaches to global environmental issues.
The project builds on the need identified by human rights defenders fighting to defend their communities from corporate corruption and environmental degradation to strengthen their legal capabilities to fight these disputes. This collaborative initiative is designed to put the resources in the international legal community behind human rights defenders to build more resilient communities and a safer planet.
